Helambu Trekking Itinerary & Other Details

Day 01

Arrive in Tribuwan International airport

Peregrine Treks Airport Representative will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. You will be invited the company and get some information about your trip.

Day 02

Kathmandu valley sightseeing

The tour leader of Peregrine Treks will take you to the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE sites of Kathmandu valley such as Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan or Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We will introduce you with your guide and porter at the evening and also give you.

Day 03

Drive to Sundarijal And Trek to Chisapani drive to Sundarijal And Trek to Chisapani

The early morning bus drive of about 1 hour will take you to the Sundarijal; the drinking water source of the Kathmandu Valley. The walking in the trail would pass through the temperate forest and Tamang village. The trekking would be around 3 hours to arrive Chisapani which lies in the top of the Hill. Chisapni offers the splendid view of Langtang and Ganesh Himal range.

Day 04

Chisapani to Kutumsang

Helambu trekking starts from Chisapani to Kutumsang will be magnificent as it passes by the terraced farmlands. The village of the Tamang origin people and the fields will be a new experience for the city dwellers. The trekking period would be around 4-5 hours.

Day 05

Kutumsang to Tharipati

The trekking would be around 6 hours and passes through the forests. This Langtang National Park area is very much significant in terms of endangered animals, birds and vegetation. This junction of the trekking in Helambu trekking in Nepal is best for the nature lovers.

Day 06

Tharipati to Tarkghyang

The trekking would be around 5 hours witnessing the prolific water resources. The ambitious Melamchi Drinking water project for Kathmandu Valley is in the vicinity of the trail. The trail provides the occasional meeting of the people and the Gompas around the trail.

Day 07

Tarkeghyang to Shermathang

The trek from Tarkeghyang is densely forested and mystical adventure overall. This jungle walking style of walking on the trail would be amazing for you as it passes by the forests listening to the soothing chirping sound of birds and whistling of the streams.

Day 08

Shermathang to Drive Kathmandu

From Sermathang the bus drive will take you back to Kathmandu. The rural hilly road experience could be another highlight of the trekking in Nepal at Helambu region. Evening dinner will be organized for you with cultural program.

Day 09

Departure International Airport
