Annapurna View Trekking trail summary

The Annapurna View Trekking starts from the drive to Nayapul. The walking is mostly the Annapurna trail from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga on the first day. Modi Khola would accompany the trail. It provides vertical views of the mountains. The path would reach Ghorepani after Ulleri uphill. The early morning hike to Poon hill to see the mesmerizing sunrise views up in the mountain. The lens of your camera and the vision of your eyes will catch the scenic beauty of the Himalayan ranges.

Once you have captured this unique memory, the trekking descends towards Chhomrong, passing by Tandapani. The cultural shows can be arranged in the evening — the views of the mountains from these places are stated in the itinerary of the Annapurna View Trekking. Annapurna View Trekking Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Peregrine Treks representative will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The travel plan and requirements will be discussed.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing

    The experienced tour leader of Peregrine Treks will accompany you to the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE listed sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square, or Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara flight to Tikhedhunga

    The joyous flight will take you to Lake City and immediately take you to a car for a road trip to Nayapul. Once you have reached Nayapul, the trekking starts along the Modi River through temperate forests. The day comprises the rural road trip to the walking on the trail.

  • Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

    The trekking from this place to Ghorepani is through a forest of Rhododendrons and uphill. The Mule herds, porters, locals, and trekkers you meet along the trail will help you communicate with them and forget the pain of climbing uphill.

  • Day 05: Early morning Poonhill - back to Ghorepani – trek to Tandapani

    The early morning hike to the world-famous Sunrise Viewpoint Poon hill will be an exhilarating experience. The views of the magnificent sun rising on the horizon and kissing the tip of mountains and surrounding landscape would be captivating. The views of the mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Neelgiri, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks can be seen from Poon hill. The trek then moves towards Tadapani.

  • Day 06: Tandapani to Chhomrong

    The trekking descends until Modi Khola arrives, and the trekking trail will be in plain land along the river bank. The walking on the path would be pristine by the sound of the birds chirping and the whistling of the river. The smell of rural Nepal and the rhythmic steps of the trekkers will amaze you.

  • Day 07: Choomrong to Pothana

    The trekking takes you along the villages of Landruk. Also, it passes by the natural hot water springs presenting you the chance to witness the rural Nepal lifestyle and the delights of hilly Nepal.

  • Day 08: Pothana to Dhampush Phedi and drive to Pokhara

    Further, descend towards Dhampus Phedi, passing by fields and villages. Then a bus drive to Pokhara will take place on this day. You will be free to roam around in Pokhara.

  • Day 09 Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus

    The magnificent Prithvi Highway will allow you to observe Nepalese people’s highway civilization and lifestyle. The views of the Trishuli River and the hilly rural road will be spectacular.

  • Day 10: Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport

    Today is the last day of your Nepal trip. If you have an evening flight, you will have free time for souvenir shopping, but you have to leave 3 hours before your hotel.

  • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, soft or hard beverages, recharge the battery, bottled/boiled water, extra porters, hot shower, the pot of tea, etc.) during trekking

Accommodation

Accommodations:

We will be accommodated at Samsara Resort or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. For Pokhara, we will be provided with Teeka resort and local tea houses during the trek. The accommodations are made on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements can be served upon request but will cost an extra USD 250. However, only a room cannot be possible sometimes during higher elevations. In the trekking area, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case.

Meals

During the trek, we have various options in cuisines like Nepali, Chinese, Italian, Continental, Indian, etc. Breakfast will be served from the tea houses or the lodge’s menu, and we will have our lunches on the way to our destination. There will be welcome and farewell dinners with our trekkers.

    Vaccinations You must be completely vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before traveling to Nepal. Vaccination documentation is required.

    On Arrival Visas are available at Nepal's entrance points for travelers. Travelers from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Syria, on the other hand, are required to obtain a visa through their nearest Nepalese diplomatic post (embassy/consulate).

    To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.

    You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
