Jomsom Muktinath Trekking Tour starts from the joyous drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You would be doing romantic boating in the Fewa Lake in Pokhara. Feel the clamor at the Lakeside of the Pokhara in the evening. A morning flight will take you to Jomsom. Jomsom is considered the windiest town in Nepal. The flight from Pokhara to Jomsom would be a mountain flight experience. The views of the Neelgiri mountain would be very close and the geographical landscape. Jomsom is the windiest place in Nepal. Once you have landed at the airport, the trekking starts along the Kaligandaki River towards Kagbeni.

The trekking from Muktinath to Marpha is very long and gruella, but the trail is straightforward and organized. The path along the river of Kaligandaki amidst a forest of pine. The villages of Thakali can be viewed along the trail.

The trekking from Marpha to Kalopani is through the jungles and the crossing of unlimited streams. The chirping birds and the whistling rivers would be motivational for soft trekking on the trail. The trekking hours will be about 5 hours.

The following day trekking of about 1 hour will take you to Ghasa; then, from Ghasa, the bus driver will take you to Tatopani. The bus drive of about 2 hours is to avoid the dusty road trail to the trekkers. Once you have reached Tatopani, you can get relieved with the dip in natural hot water springs.

From Tatopani, the uphill climbing in the trail of forests and occasional villages will take you to the hill station of Ghorepani. The trekking on this day would be around 6-7 hours.

The early morning hiking uphill to Poon hill will be the best moment of your entire trekking. The magnificent sunrise view from this viewpoint will be unique and captivating. The sun’s rays blanket the prolific mountains like Neelgiri, Annapurna, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, other peaks, and the surrounding landscape. After this fantastic activity, the trekking would descend towards Tandapani.

The trekking from Tandapani is through the jungles and along the Modi River. The sound of the whistling river and the birds chirping will be the usual sight at this trekking junction. Once you have trekked to Nayapul, the bus driver will take you back to Pokhara.

The bus drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu will be a unique experience for the trekkers as you can witness the highway lifestyle of Nepalese people and the rural road experience. The cultural program and Nepalese delicacies dinner will be treated to you as a farewell.

We will be accommodated at Samsara Resort or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. For Pokhara, we will be provided with Teeka resort and local tea houses during the trek. The accommodations are made on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements can be served upon request but will cost an extra USD 250. However, only a room cannot be possible sometimes during higher elevations. In the trekking area, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case.
During the trek, we have various options in cuisines like Nepali, Chinese, Italian, Continental, Indian, etc. Breakfast will be served from the tea houses or the lodge’s menu, and we will have our lunches on the way to our destination. There will be welcome and farewell dinners with our trekkers.

We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.
We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.
You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
