  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Peregrine Representative will receive you at the International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. The itinerary and travel plans will be discussed in the hotel for the further journey.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing

    The tour leader of Peregrine Treks will take you to UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE listed sites like Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swyambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive

  • Day 04: Pokhara to Jomsom flight and trek Kagbeni

    The flight from Pokhara to Jomsom would be a mountain flight experience. The views of the Neelgiri mountain would be very close and the geographical landscape. Jomsom is the windiest place in Nepal. Once you have landed at the airport, the trekking starts along the Kaligandaki River towards Kagbeni.

  • Day 05: Kagbeni to Muktinath

    This town of Kagbeni is the entry point towards Upper Mustang. From this place, we will trek uphill toward Muktinath. The area is very magnificent, and it will take about 3 hours. The history and significance of the Muktinath temple can be viewed on the overview page of this package.

  • Day 06: Muktinath to Marpha Trekking

    The trekking from Muktinath to Marpha is very long and gruella, but the trail is straightforward and organized. The path along the river of Kaligandaki amidst a forest of pine. The villages of Thakali can be viewed along the trail.

  • Day 07: Marpha to Kalopani

    The trekking from Marpha to Kalopani is through the jungles and the crossing of unlimited streams. The chirping birds and the whistling rivers would be motivational for soft trekking on the trail. The trekking hours will be about 5 hours.

  • Day 08: Kalopani to Ghasa & Drive to Tatopani

    The following day trekking of about 1 hour will take you to Ghasa; then, from Ghasa, the bus driver will take you to Tatopani. The bus drive of about 2 hours is to avoid the dusty road trail to the trekkers. Once you have reached Tatopani, you can get relieved with the dip in natural hot water springs.

  • Day 09: Tatopani to Ghorepani

    From Tatopani, the uphill climbing in the trail of forests and occasional villages will take you to the hill station of Ghorepani. The trekking on this day would be around 6-7 hours.

  • Day 10: Ghorepani to Poonhill and Tandapani

    The early morning hiking uphill to Poon hill will be the best moment of your entire trekking. The magnificent sunrise view from this viewpoint will be unique and captivating. The sun’s rays blanket the prolific mountains like Neelgiri, Annapurna, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, other peaks, and the surrounding landscape. After this fantastic activity, the trekking would descend towards Tandapani.

  • Day 11: Tandapani to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

  • Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus

Accommodation

We will be accommodated at Samsara Resort or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. For Pokhara, we will be provided with Teeka resort and local tea houses during the trek. The accommodations are made on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements can be served upon request but will cost an extra USD 250. However, only a room cannot be possible sometimes during higher elevations. In the trekking area, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case.

Meals

During the trek, we have various options in cuisines like Nepali, Chinese, Italian, Continental, Indian, etc. Breakfast will be served from the tea houses or the lodge’s menu, and we will have our lunches on the way to our destination. There will be welcome and farewell dinners with our trekkers.

    On Arrival Visas are available at Nepal's entrance points for travelers. Travelers from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Syria, on the other hand, are required to obtain a visa through their nearest Nepalese diplomatic post (embassy/consulate).

    To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.

    You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
