Overview

Ganesh Himal Trek is one of the best trekking trails in Ganesh Himal region. Ganesh Himal trails are gaining the momentum in terms of the popularity. From grassy meadows to the high altitude pass and from lowland Nepalese people civilization to the Himalayan people lifestyle along with the enchanting views of the Himalayan ranges make this trekking the mystical and vibrant trekking in Nepal in comparison to other popular trekking trails of Nepal.

Ganesh Himal Trek starts with the bus drive from Kathmandu to Somdang the small Tamang village. The place is popular in Nepal as the mine of zinc and also these days. Ganesh Himal Trek is very happening because of the hydropower project being installed in the region. From Somdang, Ganesh Himal trek follows towards the Pangsang Pass. The pass is visually attractive because of the green pastured hilltop placed adjacent to the Himalayan range.  The trail then moves towards Ganesh Himal Base Camp.

This unique and virgin Himalaya is equally aesthetic as its name related to the sacred god of Hinduism Lord Ganesha. People believe that the shape of the Ganesh Himal resembles that of the head of the Lord himself. Once you have savoured the delights of this magnificent mountain, you will descend towards Rajgang Kharka. In 4 days you will be in the small yet consuming town at the banks of the Budi Gandaki river. The River lies on the border of Dhading and Gorkha district of Nepal. These villages offer the enigmatic and varied experience. The Chhetri, Brahmin, Gurung and other ethnic people will encounter on the way.

The Tented accommodation or the accommodation, shared with the locals helps to enhance the small group adventure tour in the Ganesh Himal Trek. From Aarughat you will be taken to Kathmandu passing by Dhading Besi via rural postal road. The road trip from Aarughat until Dhading Besi is equally captivating because of the serpent stylistic road. You will pass paddy fields, rivers, forests uphill and downhill.
